The classes most students are interested in will take priority in being offered. Programs are currently Virtual

3-5 yr. olds 1 hour Classes

To ensure the classes will occur please register by July 14th. If there

are not enough participants the class will be canceled.

All class and course registration is encouraged to be completed 7 days

prior to the program beginning. Classes registered under 7 days will

incure an additional $2.50/class or $25/course.

Science in your world: Classes meet on Friday beginning Sept. 13th at

9:00-10:00 p.m.

These classes will incorporate concepts from various branches of science. Go to

the calendar to look at what topic will be covered each month. Double click on the

class, “3-5 yr. olds…” on a date on the calendar to view class topics and

descriptions.

All classes are taught through investigation, experimentation, and observation.

Real science tools, data collection, and analysis are implemented.

NOTE: The dates for the classes are tentative and may change pending the class

interests and pacing. Not all topics below will be covered. Participants can vote

to ensure specific topics of interest will be covered.

15 classes for $200 or $20/class (includes a $40 non-refundable material fee)

Magnetism 101 -- Youth explore magnets and the importance of them in our lives . They will learn about the 4 properties of magnets and how they work. Discover what materials may be magnetized. Discover what materials the magnetic field can travel through. Discover magnetic fields. Which type of magnet is the strongest? What are magnets used for? Make a flying butterfly and go “fishing”, and race cars.

Globe Treker --

Pack your suitcase and tavel the globe to discover ecosystems and the organisms that thrive in them. Fill up your passport of world exploration. Learn about adaptations, habitats, food webs, resource management and more.

Weather Kid --

Discover How Earth's atmoshere brings your weather. Through various experiments, arts, crafts,

and creating and gathering data form your own weather station you will learn and become a

mock network meteorologist. You will gather and interpret data to make a weather forcast. You

will learn about cloud types and the water cycle.

Explore concepts of water composition, it’s properties, uses and much more.

Discovering Simple Machines --

Explore concepts of simple machines, force, work and more through many amazing experiments and designing and building projects.
