About Dr. Larry Trussell

Principal Canine Robotics and Program volunteer instructor

Larry is a PhD Electrical Engineer graduate of Virginia Tech. He is a Principal Engineer for GL Noble Denton, Designing Synergee and builds software for simulating power distribution networks. He is a father of three teenagers and has played a major role their academics, sports, and scouting. He has served as a scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 5 and committee chair for Venture Crew 5. He has been a volunteer coach for the Carlisle Canines since 2008- present and co-organizer of the Crazy Olympic Field Day. He has been the principal instructor for the Canine Robotics program since 2003 – present. He is passionate about inspiring youth in the field of engineering, technology and doing their best.
